We left Georgia preparing ourselves for the next 7 days of hitchhiking that was being set before us… full of uncertainty but also full of faith, ready to see what God was planning for us. We took a bus from Georgia to a small town in Turkey called Rize, then we headed off on our journey. This hitchhiking journey, was extremely different to what we’re normally accustomed to, especially because this was basically going to be the last time we get to hitchhike this year and it would be the last high intensity adventurous thing we would be doing.
Needless to say we were excited but also filled...
We drove in from the border and immediately we were met with the beautiful landscapes that Georgia is known for. Endless views of mountains and trees… Georgia was already making a good first impression and it was getting us even more excited.
Our plans for Georgia had started out somewhat vague. The previous day we had sat at the border in Turkey, praying for accommodation for our time in Georgia… and thankfully, after several calls and connections, the Lord made a way and we were received by a local church not too far from where we would be receiving training from South African friends.

Israel, the holy land where bible stories come to life and suddenly the characters that we grow up reading about become real people. Upon arriving in Israel we...

The culture in Jordan proved to be more conservative than anything we had experienced before, especially considering it is a country based on Islamic beliefs…needless to say we had a lot to learn about how to best reach the people we were going to be encountering during our 3 weeks of ministry. We were blessed with briefing and training...
It was certainly a trip that we were excited about…we had been holding our excitement for this experience for what seemed like forever and the time had finally arrived. We were going to spend 4 days and 3 nights on a boat on the Amazon river, sleeping in hammocks and engaging in conversations, while simultaneously looking out onto the waters and into the mystery that is the infamous Amazon rainforest. What a dream. The Lord had opened this door for us and we knew that He had a plan…like He always does of course.
We arrived on the boat on Day 1, set up our hammocks and took a moment to take...
