Armenia was a country full of surprises. From our first day, we were unsure of where we would be staying, doing ministry, or studying… it was a country where “Trusting Jesus” became a daily adage. Upon our arrival in the capital city of Yerevan, we had a meeting with our wonderful host, who informed us that we had two choices: to stay in the city, or move about 2 hours away to a smaller town called Spitak. After praying about it as a team, we shared what we all felt. Having complete peace with either decision, we nonetheless felt an excitement for Spitak that told us Jesus...

We write this looking out at a view which would humble even the most experienced traveler: mountains, soaring into the sky, snow capped white peaks seeming to reach up into heaven. Mud puddles, rainy days, dancing, sign language and green forests, French Colonial buildings built bare blocks down from temples decorated red and gold, with carvings so precise they make you feel as though you’ve stepped into an alternate world. Laughing children, with so little, yet so much in the world, waving at you from gardens and street sidewalks. These small, quiet moments, when you step back to just admire the universe that our God created, so full, so overwhelming in its intricacy, so perfect. A mind far above ours could begin to conceive the reasons for each corner of it, but...

Our time in Malaysia has been such an incredible blessing and testimony of God’s grace and provision, story after story of His love and, through some hard times, mercy. We are so privileged to have been able to spend time in this incredible country with our brothers and sisters in Christ that the Lord placed on our path. It was encouraging to see how these fellow believers worked for His glory everyday. We arrived in Malaysia on April 6th, after an intense week of travel. Leaving Johannesburg on April 1st, we flew to Bangkok, Thailand, spending the night there before pressing on...
