A Moment of Praise – part 4
Moment Six

God has provided in unexplainable ways for me this year. Providing a means for me to go on this one-year journey is one of them, so I figured God had already done enough for me by allowing me to do this journey at all, but I realised my view of God’s provision was very limited at the time. God could provide for me much more than just “an experience”, but also through a reviving of my soul. Eternally more important than a year of traveling, God provided a way to show me his love in a way I had never experienced before through the many countries and cultures this year. God has provided a future for my life more valuable than just the average way to live, chasing after a materialistic lifestyle. Through the humbling and challenging moments we’ve had this year, God has also provided me with fire for his people.
The most impactful form of provision begins in the heart, which is the start of
transforming every other area in our lives
To conclude these amazing testimonies of what the Lord has done in our lives and the lives of those around us…
We do not doubt that God still has magnificent plans for us this year, and we’re so excited to see what He has in store for us. We’re thankful to Him for how much He’s provided. My prayer for us as a team is that we will not seek His hand in everything, but that we will seek His face. May our relationships with you grow deeper every day Lord.
We hope that the Lord’s work in our lives has impacted you, may He continue to reveal Himself to you more and more every day.

Abig testimony for me and my family is how God provided for us through the years. For 10 years my dad had no job, he tried various things for an income but nothing stuck, every time we thought a door opened it was shut closed again. So, a lot of times we had to rely on my mom’s income only. She started a clothing business right after my dad’s business closed and that saved us. It put a lot of stress on my dad and caused sleepless nights and frustration. There were a lot of times these past 10 years when we had no idea where the money is going to come from but then God always made a way and provided for us. For example, we had to sell our house and other belongings to pay for stuff but through that God also provided, my grandpa bought us a house, and my grandma and uncle regularly lent us money. Even in lockdown, someone paid money into our accounts anonymously every month!
I worked at a pizza place for years and at the beginning I was shy, I didn’t want anyone to see my work and that broke my parent’s hearts. But that also lifted a weight off my parent’s shoulders that they didn’t have to give me pocket money and God taught me a lot through my working there.
Even my Global money is a testimony, someone sponsored me for the WHOLE year. I and my parents were stressed because we thought I won’t be able to have pocket money but then we decided to sell tickets to win a voucher. My dad advertised it on his friend group and in one night we got R10,000.
We can’t talk enough about God’s provision!! A few months ago my dad applied for a job and immediately went for an interview and got it! When I heard the news I couldn’t believe it, I thought it would just be another ‘no’ like always… it brought me to tears. The best part is that it is not just any job, it is something he loves and enjoys doing. Hearing him talk now, he sounds like a different person, he is truly happy and he says he can have a good night’s sleep for the first time in 10 years. Through all of this God taught us to wait on Him.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
God is good even when you can’t see Him in the situation that you are in now but He is there and His hand is in it.
